Serviced July 2024, manual wind movement, excellent black dial and hands, H3 and radiation symbols on dial, parkerized stainless steel case and screw down case back, green NATO strap with stainless buckle, fixed spring bars, NOS acrylic crystal.
Hamilton made watches for the US Military under various specifications, one of which was the Mil-W-46374. The 46374B version of the spec was released in 1975 which added the radiation symbols to the dial among other refinements. This example comes with the manual wind, 7 jewel movement with a center sweep seconds hand. The matte finished black dial is in excellent condition. The numerals and radiation symbols are painted, as is the minute track. The paint across the entire dial is mint. The hour pips were relumed during service July 2024. The white hands are excellent with little to no patina evident and were also relumed during service. A NOS domed acrylic crystal was installed during service. The crown is original. The watch is ready to wear on an olive drab nylon NATO strap with stainless steel hardware. The manual wind movement was fully serviced July 2024 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 9 seconds per day.
