1975 Hamilton Griffin

Serviced September 2024, Swiss made automatic movement, mint gilt dial with applied hour markers and painted minute track, 14k gold electroplated case, stainless steel screw down case back, quick set day and date, genuine leather strap, mineral glass crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made from 1975 through 1977, the Griffin comes with a Swiss made (ETA) Hamilton caliber 826 automatic movement with a quick set day and date complication at the 3 o'clock. The watch features a mint gilt dial with applied hour markers and a black painted minute track. The applied markers feature black enamel accents. The dial was relumed September 2024. The original hands show fine patina and have also been relumed. The crystal is flat mineral glass. The 14k gold electroplated case has been hand polished. The stainless steel case back has some scratching. The watch is ready to wear on an unworn genuine leather black croc print two piece strap. The 826 caliber automatic also hand winds and was serviced September 2024 and is running strong and currently performing at +/- 9 seconds per day.

Case - 14k gold electroplated case, stainless steel screw down case back. Fine scratching evident. No plate wear visible.

Lugs - Excellent.

Crystal - Flat mineral glass crystal.

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina. The sweep second hand is painted black and is in excellent condition. Relumed September 2024

Dial - Original, mint condition gilt dial. Applied hour markers. Applied Hamilton "H" logo, painted minute track, and painted 'selfwinding' branding. Paint on the dial is in mint condition. Relumed September 2024.

Strap - Unworn two piece black genuine leather croc print strap with gold tone hardware.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton caliber 826, automatic with hand winding, 17 jewels. Fully serviced September 2024. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
