1975 Hamilton Auto Date Escort (Stainless Steel)

Serviced February 2019, Swiss made automatic movement, quick set day and date, excellent matte blue dial, hand polished stainless steel case, acrylic crystal, original Hamilton link bracelet with signed clasp, signed crown, alloy mainspring.

The Hamilton Auto Date Escort in stainless steel with the Q/C II (Quick Change II) was only produced in 1975. There are two similar models that were produced in 1973 (Day N' Date 6005) and 1974 (Auto Date Ventura) that were powered by the Q/C I movement. The Q/C II movement features the ability to quick change both the day and the date with the crown in the second position. The Hamilton Auto Date Escort watch comes with a Swiss (ETA) made automatic 826 caliber movement with day and date complications. The movement can be hand wound. The matte blue dial is excellent with little to no patina visible. The applied silver and white markers are also excellent. The paint for the Hamilton logo and selfwinding branding is in minty condition, as is the applied silver 'H' logo at 9 o'clock. The original silver hands with white paint down the center are excellent. The watch is ready to wear on an original vintage Hamilton link bracelet. The Swiss (ETA) made 17 jewel caliber 826 automatic movement was fully serviced February 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 10 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished steel case with screw down case back. Some scratching on the bezel and on the case back. Signed Hamilton crown.

Lugs - Integrated lugs are in excellent condition with no major defects. Some light scratching.

Crystal - Acrylic crystal polished clean and clear of any major defects.

Hands - Appear to be original with very light patina developing on the silver edges.

Dial - Minty matte blue dial. Applied silver tone markers with white accents. Painted Hamilton and selfwinding branding. Applied silvered 'H' Hamilton logo at 9 o'clock. Paint on the dial is in minty condition.

Bracelet - Vintage original Hamilton stainless steel link bracelet. Signed clasp. Some scratching consistent with age.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton automatic caliber 826, 17 jewels, quick change day/date, hand winds. Fully serviced February 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
