1973 Hamilton Sea Date

Serviced October 2019, Swiss made manual wind movement, quick set day and date, excellent silver dial, hand polished stainless steel case, NOS acrylic crystal, unworn leather strap, signed crown, alloy mainspring.

The Hamilton Sea Date in stainless steel was only produced in 1973 through 1976. The watch comes with a Swiss (ETA) made manual wind 800 caliber movement with a quick set day and date complication at the 3 o'clock position. The silver dial is near mint with no patina visible. The excellent applied silver markers are accented with white enamel. The paint for the Hamilton logo and the 'H' logo is in mint condition as well. The black painted minute track with white painted markers is in mint condition. The original silver hands with white paint down the center are excellent, as is the red sweep seconds hand. The watch is ready to wear on an unworn black genuine leather two piece strap with silver toned clasp. The Swiss (ETA) made 17 jewel caliber 800 manual wind movement was fully serviced October 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 19 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished steel case with screw down case back. Some scratching on the bezel and on the case back. Signed Hamilton crown countersunk into the case.

Lugs - Integrated lugs are in excellent condition with no major defects. Some light scratching.

Crystal - NOS acrylic crystal installed during service in October 2019.

Hands - Appear to be original with very light patina developing on the silver edges. Red painted center seconds in very good condition.

Dial - Mint silver dial. Applied silver tone markers with white accents. Painted Hamilton and H logo. Painted minute track with mint white painted markers.

Strap - Unworn genuine leather black two piece strap with silver tone buckle.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton manual wind caliber 800, 17 jewels, quick change day and date. Fully serviced October 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
