1973 Hamilton Day 'N Date 5006

Serviced August 2019, Swiss made automatic movement, day and date window at 3 o'clock, good original silver dial with blue-grey outer track, hand polished two piece stainless steel case, NOS acrylic crystal, unworn black leather strap, alloy mainspring, signed crown.

Made in just 1973, the Hamilton Day 'n Date 5006 watch comes with a Swiss (ETA) made automatic 826 caliber movement with day and date complications. The silver dial is in good condition with light patina visible. The applied silver markers with blue painted accents are excellent. The Hamilton H logo is applied. The paint for the selfwinding script branding has two extremely minor blenishes. The minute track is painted a blue-grey color with red painted minute and second markers. The original silver hands with blue painted accents are good, with light patina visible. The watch is ready to wear on a brand new, unworn black leather strap with contrasting stitching. The Swiss (ETA) made 17 jewel caliber 826 automatic movement was fully serviced August 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 19 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished two piece stainless steel case. Some fine scratching on the bezel and on the screw down case back. Signed Hamilton crown.

Lugs - In excellent condition with no major defects. Some light scratching.

Crystal - NOS acrylic crystal installed during service.

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina developing. The lume also appears to be original and no longer glows.

Dial - Silver dial. Applied silver tone markers. Applied Hamilton 'H' logo, and script selfwinding branding. Painted minute track.

Band - Unworn black genuine leather strap with silver tone buckle and contrasting stitching.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton automatic caliber 826, 17 jewels, day/date. Fully serviced August 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
