1973 Hamilton Auto Date Courier

Serviced March 2019, Swiss made automatic movement, mint silver dial with applied hour markers and painted minute track. Hand polished 14k gold electroplated case, stainless steel screw down case back, leather strap, acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made from 1973 through 1976, the Auto Date Courier comes with a Swiss made (ETA) Hamilton caliber 825 automatic movement. The watch features a mint condition vertically brushed silver dial with applied hour markers, and a black painted minute track. The applied markers feature enamel accents and orange painted accents on the dial. The domed acrylic crystal was polished clean and clear of any major defects. The 14k gold electroplated case has been hand polished and shows some scratching. The stainless steel case back has hairline scratching consistent with age. The crown is signed. The two piece genuine leather strap is water resistant. The 825 caliber automatic also hand winds and was serviced March 2019 and is running strong and currently performing at +/- 14 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 14k gold electroplated case with some scratches. Stainless steel screw down case back with hairline scratches. The crown is signed with the Hamilton 'H' logo.

Lugs - No visible wear on the reverse side of the lugs.

Crystal - Domed acrylic crystal polished clean and clear.

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina. The sweep second hand is painted orange and is in excellent condition.

Dial - Original, mint condition dial. Brushed silver finished with applied hour markers. Painted Hamilton "H" logo, painted minute track, and painted 'selfwinding' branding. Paint on the dial is in mint condition.

Band - Genuine leather water resistant strap with gold tone buckle.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton caliber 825, automatic with hand winding, 17 jewels. Fully serviced March 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
