1973 Hamilton Auto Date Buccaneer

Serviced December 2019, Swiss made automatic wind movement, quick set day and date, superb silver dial, hand polished stainless steel case, NOS acrylic crystal, original Hamilton bracelet, signed crown, alloy mainspring.

The Hamilton Auto Date Buccaneerwas produced in 1973 and 1974. The watch comes with a Swiss (ETA) made automatic wind 826 caliber movement with a quick set day and date complication at the 6 o'clock position. The silver dial is near mint with no patina visible. The excellent applied silver markers are accented with white enamel. The paint for the Hamilton logo, the 'H' logo, and the selfwinding branding are in mint condition as well. The blue painted minute track with white painted markers is in mint condition. The original silver hands with white paint down the center are excellent, as is the red sweep seconds hand. The watch is ready to wear on the original Hamilton stainless steel link bracelet with sign clasp. The Swiss (ETA) made 17 jewel caliber 826 manual wind movement was fully serviced December 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 14 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished steel case with screw down case back. Some scratching on the bezel and on the case back. Signed Hamilton crown.

Lugs - Lugs are in excellent condition with no major defects. Some light scratching.

Crystal - NOS acrylic crystal installed during service in December 2019.

Hands - Appear to be original with very light patina developing on the silver edges. Red painted center seconds in very good condition.

Dial - Mint silver dial. Applied silver tone markers with white accents. Painted Hamilton , H logo, and selfwinding branding. Blue painted minute track with mint white painted markers.

Bracelet - Original Hamilton stainless steel link bracelet my Prospect. Some fine scratching consistent with age. Signed clasp.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton automatic wind caliber 826, 17 jewels, quick change day and date. Fully serviced December 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
