1973 Hamilton Auto Cal Patriot
Serviced October 2022, Swiss made automatic movement, mint gilt dial with applied hour markers and painted minute track. Unpolished 14k gold electroplated case, stainless steel screw down case back, quick set date, original two tone bracelet, signed crown, acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.
Made from 1973 through 1976, the Auto Cal Patriot comes with a Swiss made (ETA) Hamilton caliber 821 automatic movement with a quick set date complication at the 3 o'clock. The watch features a mint condition gilt dial with applied hour markers and a black painted minute track. The applied markers feature black enamel accents. The domed acrylic crystal was polished clean and clear of any major defects. The 14k gold electroplated case has not been polished and still exhibits the factory brushing on the top and high polish on the sides. There is a ding on the edge of the case near the 9 o'clock. The stainless steel case back has very few fine scratching. The watch is ready to wear on the original Hamilton two tone stainless steel bracelet with signed clasp. The 821 caliber automatic also hand winds and was serviced October 2022 and is running strong and currently performing at +/- 8 seconds per day.

Case - Unpolished 14k gold electroplated case. Factory brush finish on top and high polish on sides. A ding at 9 o'clock. Stainless steel screw down case back.
Lugs - Excellent.
Crystal - Domed acrylic crystal polished clean and clear of major defects during October 2022 service.
Hands - Appear to be original with little to no patina. The sweep second hand is painted red and is in excellent condition.
Dial - Original, mint condition gilt dial. Applied hour markers. Painted Hamilton "H" logo, painted minute track, and painted 'selfwinding' branding. Paint on the dial is in mint condition.
Bracelet - Original two tone stainless steel bracelet with signed Hamilton clasp.
Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton caliber 821, automatic with hand winding, 17 jewels. Fully serviced October 2022. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
