1973 Hamilton Auto Cal Delta (Gold)

Serviced December 2019, Swiss made automatic movement, quick set date, mint gilt dial, hand polished gold electroplated case, stainless steel screw down case back, NOS acrylic crystal, unworn black leather strap, signed crown, alloy mainspring.

The Hamilton Auto Cal Delta in 14k gold electroplate was only produced in 1973. The watch comes with a Swiss (ETA) made automatic 822 caliber movement with a quick set date complication at the 3 o'clock. The movement can be hand wound. The sunburst gilt dial is in mint condition with no patina visible. The applied gold tone markers are accented with black enamel down the middle and are excellent. The paint for the Hamilton logo, the 'H' logo, and selfwinding branding is in mint condition. The orange painted sweep second hand and accents for the minute track are also in mint condition. The original gilt hands with black paint down the center are very good with light patina developing. The watch is ready to wear on an unworn black genuine leather two piece strap. The Swiss (ETA) made 17 jewel caliber 822 automatic movement was fully serviced December 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 21 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 14k gold electroplated case with stainless steel screw down case back. Some scratching on the bezel and on the case back. Signed Hamilton crown countersunk into the case.

Lugs - Integrated lugs are in excellent condition with no major defects. Some light scratching.

Crystal - NOS acrylic crystal installed during service in December 2019.

Hands - Appear to be original with very light patina developing on the gilt edges. Orange painted center seconds in near mint condition.

Dial - Original sunburst gilt dial in mint condition. Applied gold tone markers with black accents. Painted Hamilton and selfwinding branding. Mint painted minute track with orange accents. Paint on the dial is in mint condition.

Band - Unworn, black genuine leather strap with gold toned clasp and contrasting stitching.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton automatic caliber 822, 17 jewels, quick change date, hand winds. Fully serviced December 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
