1972 Hamilton Sea Ruler III

1972 Hamilton Sea Ruler III

Serviced February 2022, Swiss made manual wind movement, excellent blue dial, silver applied hour markers with enamel accents, hand polished stainless steel case, acrylic crystal, unworn genuine leather strap, alloy mainspring.

The Sea Ruler III was made for just two years in 1972 and 1973. This watch comes with a Swiss (ETA) made manual wind 685 caliber movement which hacks (stops the second hand when setting the time). The dial is in excellent condition and features a deep red and orange minute track with white painted minute marks. The applied silver hour markers are proud of the dial giving it added depth. The paint for the Hamilton branding and the 'H' is excellent. The hands appear to be original and have some patina. The case still has the factory brushing on the front bezel, with high polished case sides. The watch is ready to wear on an unworn brown genuine leather two piece strap. The Swiss (ETA) made 17 jewel caliber 685 manual wind movement was fully serviced February 2022 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 12 seconds per day.
