1972 Hamilton Sea Cliff IV

Serviced January 2019, Swiss made manual movement, mint brown dial with applied hour markers and painted minute and second track. Hand polished gold electroplated case, stainless steel screw down case back, unworn leather band, acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made from 1972 through 1974, the Hamilton Sea Cliff IV comes with a Swiss made (ETA) Hamilton caliber 61 manual (hand wind) movement. The watch features a mint condition chocolate brown dial with gold applied hour markers and a white painted minute and second track. The flat topped acrylic crystal was polished clean and clear of any major defects. The 14k gold electroplated case and bezel has been hand polished and shows some scratching. There are some dings on the back edge of the case. The stainless steel case back has some hairline scratching consistent with age. The watch is ready to wear on a brand new, unworn brown genuine leather strap with gold tone buckle. The 61 caliber manual wind movement was serviced January 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 32 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 14k gold electroplated case. Stainless steel screw down case back has some scratching. There are some dings and minor plate wear along some of the edges of the case on the back.

Lugs - Minor plate wear on the reverse side of the lugs.

Crystal - Flat topped acrylic crystal polished clean and clear.

Hands - Appear to be original. Extremely light patina.

Dial - Original, mint condition dial. Chocolate brown field, applied hour markers, painted minute and seconds track. Paint on the dial is in mint condition.

Band - Unworn brown genuine leather strap with gold tone buckle.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton caliber 61, manual wind, 17 jewels. Fully serviced January 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
