1972 Hamilton Day N' Date ST-5503

Serviced October 2019, Swiss made manual wind movement, quick set day and date, excellent silver dial, applied markers, painted minutes and seconds track, hand polished stainless steel case and screw down case back, acrylic crystal, signed crown, alloy mainspring.

The Hamilton Day N' Date ST-5503 was made for just two years in 1972 and 1973. The comes with a Swiss (ETA) made manual wind caliber 800 movement. The silver dial is in excellent condition with little to no patina evident. The applied silver markers with white accents are in excellent condition, as are the painted minute and seconds track. The paint for the Hamilton logo is missing the "o", but is otherwise in excellent condition. The original silver hands with red accents are good with light patina. The watch is ready to wear on gently worn carbon fiber two piece strap with silver tone buckle. The Swiss (ETA) made 17 jewel caliber 800 manual wind movement was fully serviced October 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 34 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished stainless steel case and screw down case back. Some scratching on the bezel and on the case back. Signed Hamilton crown.

Lugs - Integrated lugs are in excellent condition with no major defects. Some light scratching.

Crystal - Domed acrylic crystal polished clean and clear of major defects during service in October 2019.

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina developing.

Dial - Excellent original silver dial. Applied silver tone markers with white painted accents. Painted Hamilton branding, and minute and second track. Paint on the Hamilton branding is missing the "o". Applied Hamilton H logo.

Strap - Gently worn carbon fiber two piece strap with silver tone buckle.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton manual wind caliber 800, 17 jewels. Fully serviced October 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
