1972 Hamilton Day 'N Date 6006

Serviced January 2019, day and date complication with quick set, Swiss made automatic movement, mint silver and gilt dial with applied hour markers and painted minute track. Hand polished 14k gold electroplated case, stainless steel screw down case back, unworn leather strap with two tone stitching, acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made from 1972 through 1974, the Hamilton Day 'N Date 6006 comes with a Swiss made (ETA) Hamilton caliber 825 automatic movement. The watch features a mint condition silver dial with a gilt horizontal accent, applied hour markers, and a white painted minute track. The dial sparkles as the light hits it at an angle. The day and date window is at 3 o'clock, adding to incredible 70's styling. The domed acrylic crystal was polished clean and clear of any major defects. The 14k gold electroplated case has been hand polished and shows some scratching. The front of the bezel still has the factory vertical brushing. The stainless steel case back has some minor scratching consistent with age. The face of the crown shows plate wear. The two piece leather strap is brand new and unworn. It has contrasting stitching to complement the cream color on the applied hour markers. The 825 caliber automatic day/date movement was serviced January 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 16 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 14k gold electroplated case with factory brushing on the front of the bezel. Stainless steel screw down case back has some scratching. There are some dings and minor plate wear along some of the edges of the case. There is some wear on the case behind the crown. The crown has plate wear on the face.

Lugs - No visible wear on the reverse side of the lugs.

Crystal - Domed acrylic crystal polished clean and clear.

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina.

Dial - Original, mint condition dial. Silver field with gilt horizontal accent, applied hour markers and Hamilton "H" logo, painted minute track. Paint on the dial is in mint condition.

Band - Unworn brown genuine leather strap with gold tone buckle and contrasting stitching.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton caliber 825, quick set day/date, automatic, 17 jewels. Fully serviced January 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
