1972 Hamilton Day 'N Date 6005

Serviced April 2019, day and date complication with quick set, Swiss made automatic movement, near mint gilt and black dial with applied hour markers and painted minute/second track. Hand polished 14k gold electroplated case with some plate wear, stainless steel screw down case back, gently worn leather strap with gold tone buckle, NOS acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made from 1972 through 1975, the Hamilton Day 'N Date 6005 comes with a Swiss made (ETA) Hamilton caliber 826 automatic movement. The watch features a near mint condition gilt dial with black outer track, applied hour markers, and a gilt painted minute and seconds track. The gilt field is vertically brushed. The day and date window is at 6 o'clock, adding to incredible 70's styling. The NOS domed acrylic crystal was installed during the full service April 2019. The 14k gold electroplated case has been hand polished and shows some scratching. There is some plate wear on the outside of the 11 o'clock lug, as well as between the strap and the case. There is a small ding in the bezel at the 5 o'clock position. The stainless steel case back has some minor scratching consistent with age. The face of the crown shows plate wear. The two piece leather strap is gently worn. The 826 caliber automatic day/date movement was serviced April 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 14 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 14k gold electroplated case. Plate wear between the strap at the 12 o'clock. Small ding in the bezel at 5 o'clock. Some plate wear on the reverse along the edge. Stainless steel screw down case back has some scratching. The crown has plate wear on the face.

Lugs - Plate wear on the outside tip of the 11 o'clock lug.

Crystal - NOS high domed acrylic crystal installed during April 2019 servicing.

Hands - Appear to be original with little to no patina.

Dial - Original, minty condition dial. Gilt field with vertical brushing, applied hour markers with black accents. Applied Hamilton "H" logo, painted minute/second track. Paint on the dial is in excellent condition.

Band - Lightly worn black genuine leather strap with gold tone buckle.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton caliber 826, quick set day/date, automatic, 17 jewels. Fully serviced April 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
