1972 Hamilton Dateline A-594
Serviced October 2023, Swiss made automatic movement, quick change date, excellent blue and silver dial with applied hour markers, hand polished stainless steel case and screw down case back, unworn genuine leather strap, signed crown, NOS acrylic crystal.
Hamilton introduced the Dateline series of watches in 1963. The lineup included automatic as well as manual wind movements, but all models had a calendar complication. The Dateline A-594 model was produced for just one year in 1972. This example is powered by a Swiss (ETA) made automatic 820 caliber movement, with the date at the 3 o'clock. The blue dial has a horizontal silver band with no patina evident. The applied silver markers with white enamel accents are excellent. The paint across the entire dial and the applied Hamilton logo are also mint. The silver hands are good. The white sweep second hand is excellent. Both the dial and the hour and minute hands were relumed during service. A NOS high domed acrylic crystal was also installed during service. The watch is ready to wear on a brand new, unworn brown genuine leather two piece strap. The Swiss (ETA) made 820 automatic movement was fully serviced October 2023 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 12 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished stainless steel case and screw down case back. Some minor scratching on case and case back. Factory brushing still visible on the front of the case.
Lugs - Integrated into the cushion case and in excellent condition with minor scratching.
Crystal - NOS high domed acrylic crystal installed during full servicing in October 2023.
Hands - Appear to be original with very light patina developing. White accents are excellent. Hour and minute hands relumed October 2023.
Dial - Blue dial with horizontal silver accent band. Applied silver hour markers with white enamel accents. Applied Hamilton logo. Painted minute track. Paint on the dial is in excellent condition. Hour markers relumed October 2023.
Strap - Unworn brown genuine leather two piece strap with silver tone hardware.
