1972 Hamilton Dateline A-594

Serviced August 2020, Swiss made automatic movement, quick change date, mint blue and silver dial with applied markers, hand polished stainless steel case and screw down case back, original stainless steel Hamilton bracelet, acrylic crystal.

Hamilton introduced the Dateline series of watches in 1963. The lineup included automatic as well as manual wind movements, but all models had a calendar complication. The Dateline A-594 model was produced for just one year in 1974. It came with a Swiss (ETA) made automatic 822 caliber movement, with the date at the 3 o'clock. The blue dial has a horizontal silver band with no patina evident. The applied silver markers with white enamel accents are excellent. The paint across the entire dial and the applied Hamilton logo are also mint. The silver hands are good. The white sweep second hand is excellent. The watch is ready to wear the original stainless steel Hamilton bracelet with signed clasp. The Swiss (ETA) made 822 automatic movement was fully serviced August 2020 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 15 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished stainless steel case and screw down case back. Some minor scratching on case and case back.

Lugs - Integrated into the cushion case and in excellent condition with very minor scratching.

Crystal - Acrylic crystal polished clean and clear during full servicing in August 2020.

Hands - Appear to be original with very light patina developing. White accents are excellent.

Dial - Blue dial with horizontal silver accent band. Applied silver hour markers with white enamel accents. Applied Hamilton logo. Painted minute track. Paint on the dial is in excellent condition.

Bracelet - Stainless steel original Hamilton bracelet.

Movement - Swiss made Hamilton automatic caliber 822, 17 jewels. Fully serviced August 2020. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
