1972 Hamilton Dateline A-592

Serviced September 2019, Swiss made automatic movement, good silver dial, applied markers, hand polished stainless steel case and screw down case back, acrylic crystal, signed crown, alloy mainspring.

Hamilton introduced the Dateline line in 1963 and produced them in various versions through the 1970's. This particular Dateline is the A-592 model and comes with a Swiss (ETA) made automatic 820 caliber movement, which can also be hand wound. The silver dial is in good condition with patina across the dial. The applied silver markers with black accents are in good condition. The paint for the Hamilton logo and selfwinding branding is in fair condition with some paint fading/missing. The original silver hands with black accents are good with light patina. The watch is ready to wear on a genuine leather strap. The Swiss (ETA) made 17 jewel caliber 820 automatic movement was fully serviced September 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 24 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished stainless steel case and screw down case back. Some scratching on the bezel and on the case back. Signed Hamilton crown.

Lugs - Lugs are in excellent condition with no major defects. Some light scratching.

Crystal - Domed acrylic crystal polished clean and clear of major defects during service in September 2019.

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina developing.

Dial - Good original silver dial with sunburst finish. Applied silver tone markers with black painted accents. Painted Hamilton, selfwinding branding, and minute and second track. Paint on the dial has some fading/chipping. Applied Hamilton H logo.

Strap - Unworn genuine leather black two piece strap with silver tone buckle.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton automatic caliber 820, 17 jewels, hand winds. Fully serviced September 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
