1972 Hamilton Accumatic A-657

Serviced February 2019, Swiss made automatic movement, mint gray dial with applied hour markers and painted minute track. Hand polished 14k gold electroplated case, stainless steel screw down case back, vintage lizard print leather strap with minor wear near the lugs, acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made from 1972 through 1973, the Accumatic comes with a Swiss made (ETA) Hamilton caliber 815 automatic movement. The watch features a mint condition matte gray dial with applied hour markers, and a white painted minute track. The domed acrylic crystal was polished clean and clear of any major defects. The 14k gold electroplated case has been hand polished and shows some scratching. The front of the bezel still has the factory brushing. The stainless steel case back has one small scratch. The crown is signed. The two piece leather strap is vintage and is a lizard print on calf skin. There is some wear of the leather near the corners of the lugs. The 815 caliber automatic also hand winds and was serviced February 2019 and is running strong and currently performing at +/- 8 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 14k gold electroplated case with factory brushing on the front of the bezel along with some minor dings and scratches. Stainless steel screw down case back has one small scratch. The crown is signed with the Hamilton 'H' logo.

Lugs - No visible wear on the reverse side of the lugs.

Crystal - Domed acrylic crystal polished clean and clear.

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina. The sweep second hand is painted white and is in excellent condition.

Dial - Original, mint condition dial. Matte gray finished with applied hour markers. Painted Hamilton "H" logo, painted minute track, and painted 'selfwinding' branding. Paint on the dial is in mint condition.

Band - Calf skin leather strap with gold tone buckle and lizard print. Wear on the leather near the lugs.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton caliber 825, automatic with hand winding, 17 jewels. Fully serviced February 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
