Hamilton introduced the Accumatic line in 1956 and produced them in various versions through 1972. This particular model was called the Accumatic A-517 when first introduced in 1972. In 1973, Hamilton dropped the Accumatic branding and this watch was known just as the A-517 in its second, and final, year of production. This watch comes with a Swiss made (ETA) Hamilton caliber 818 automatic movement with 17 jewels. The watch features a mint condition vertically brushed silver dial with applied hour markers with blue accents. The NOS acrylic crystal was installed during service. The stainless steel case has been hand polished with fine scratches evident. The crown is signed. The watch comes ready to wear on a brand new unworn black two-piece black genuine leather strap with stainless hardware. The 818 caliber automatic also hand winds and was serviced December 2025 and is running strong and currently performing at +/- 14 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished stainless steel case with some scratches. Stainless steel screw down case back. The crown is signed.
Lugs - Lugs are in excellent condition.
Crystal - NOS acrylic crystal installed during service.
Hands - Original with extremely light patina.
Dial - Original, mint condition dial. Vertiaclly brushed silver dial with applied hour markers with blue accents. Applied Hamilton "H" logo, painted Hamilton and 'selfwinding' branding.
Strap - Unworn black padded genuine leather two-piece strap with stainless hardware.
Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton caliber 818, automatic with hand winding, 17 jewels. Fully serviced December 2025. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
