1972 Hamilton Accumatic A-514

Serviced February 2020, Swiss made automatic movement, mint green dial with applied hour markers, painted chapter ring. Hand polished stainless steel case and screw down case back, unworn genuine leather strap, signed crown, acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Hamilton introduced the Accumatic line in 1956 and produced them in various versions through 1972. This particular model was called the Accumatic A-514 when first introduced in 1972 and was called just the A-514 in its second, and final, year of production in 1973. This watch comes with a Swiss made (ETA) Hamilton caliber 815 automatic movement with 17 jewels. The watch features a mint condition matte finished green dial with applied hour markers with black accents and a painted minute track om the white chapter ring. The low domed acrylic crystal was polished clean and clear of any major defects. The stainless steel case has been hand polished with fine scratches evident. The crown is signed. The watch comes ready to wear on an unworn brown genuine leather two piece strap with a stainless steel buckle. The 815 caliber automatic also hand winds and was serviced February 2020 and is running strong and currently performing at +/- 20 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished stainless steel case with some scratches. Stainless steel screw down case back. The crown is signed with the Hamilton 'H' logo.

Lugs - In excellent condition with fine scratching.

Crystal - Low domed acrylic crystal polished clean and clear of any major defects.

Hands - Appear to be original with extremely light patina.

Dial - Original, mint condition dial. Matte finished with applied hour markers with black accents. Painted Hamilton "H" logo, Hamilton, and painted 'selfwinding' branding. Painted minute track on the white chapter ring. Paint on the dial is in mint condition.

Band - Unworn genuine leather brown two piece strap with stainless steel buckle.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton caliber 815, automatic with hand winding, 17 jewels. Fully serviced February 2020. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
