1971 Hamilton Pan Europ 701

Serviced November 2018, quick set date, Swiss made automatic movement, mint grey dial with raised minute track, factory brushing on front of bezel, hand polished case sides, Pegasus engraved stainless steel case back, original bracelet with signed clasp, signed crown, NOS crystal, alloy mainspring.

Introduced in 1971, the Pan Europ 701 comes with a Swiss made (ETA) Hamilton caliber 821 automatic movement. This watch features a mint condition dial with a grey field in the middle, surrounded by unique raised minute track. The date window at 6 o'clock is framed with a gold bezel. A NOS flattop acrylic crystal was installed as part of the full servicing performed November 2018. The gold electroplated bezel still has the factory brushing on the front of the bezel. The polished case sides were hand polished. The stainless steel case back features an engraved Pegasus. The bracelet is original to the watch and has a signed clasp that still has the factory brushing as well. The watch comes with a Hamilton signed crown. The 821 caliber automatic movement was serviced November 2018 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 18 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished gold electroplated case. Factory brushing on front, polished case sides. Stainless steel screw down case back with Pegasus engraving. There is no visible plate wear, but some scratching on the bezel.

Lugs - No visible wear on the lugs, including on the tips.

Crystal - NOS flattop acrylic crystal installed November 2018.

Hands - Appear to be original. Extremely light patina.

Dial - Original, mint condition dial. Grey field with raised minute track. Paint on the dial is in mint condition.

Bracelet - Original Champion bracelet with signed Hamilton clasp. 10k gold files top, stainless steel back. Factory brushing still intact on the clasp. There are seven micro adjust holes. The bracelet should fit wrists from 6 to 7.5 inches.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton caliber 821, automatic, 17 jewels. Fully serviced November 2018. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
