1970's Hamilton Dateline 64049-3
Serviced August 2022, Swiss made automatic movement, date at 6 o'clock, excellent silver dial, stainless steel case and screw down case back, unworn leather strap, NOS acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.
Hamilton introduced the Dateline line in 1963 and produced them in various versions through 1970's. This model was not found in the American catalogs, which is not uncommon for Hamilton during the early 1970's after they moved production to Switzerland. The 64049-3 watch comes with a Swiss (ETA) made automatic 694A caliber movement with a date complication at the 6 o'clock. The silver dial is in excellent condition. The painted black minute markers and hour markers are excellent. The paint for the H logo, script Hamilton, and automatic branding on the dial is in mint condition. The original hour and minute hands have black enamel accents with little to no patina visible. The dial and hands have been relumed. The watch is ready to wear on an unworn black leather two piece strap with stainless steel hardware and contrasting stitching. Strap has quick release spring bars. The Swiss (ETA) made 17 jewel caliber 694A automatic movement was fully serviced August 2022 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 11 seconds per day.

Lugs - Light scratching. Drilled.
Crystal - NOS acrylic crystal installed as part of the full servicing in August 2022.
Hands - Appear to be original. Hour and minute hands were relumed during service in July 2022.
Dial - Excellent silver dial with black painted markers. Applied hour markers at 12, 3, and 9 o'clock. Painted Hamilton 'H' logo, Hamilton script, and automatic branding. Paint on the dial is in excellent condition. Dial relumed during August 2022 service.
Strap - Brand new, unworn black leather strap with contracting stitching and stainless steel hardware. Quick release springs bars.
Movement - Swiss made Hamilton automatic caliber 694A, 17 jewels. Fully serviced August 2022. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
