1970's Hamilton Auto Date
Serviced September 2023, Swiss made automatic wind movement, quick set day and date, excellent blue dial, applied markers, painted minutes track, hand polished stainless steel case, signed crown, relumed dial and hands, NOS acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring, unworn leather strap.
Hamilton produced the Auto Date line of watches beginning in 1973 through 1977. This particular example does not appear in any of the vintage American Hamilton catalogs so could be a European only model. The watch comes with a Swiss (ETA) made automatic wind caliber 826 movement. The blue dial is in near mint condition with no patina evident. The applied silver markers with white accents are in excellent condition. The painted minute track is excellent. The paint for the Hamilton logo and selfwinding branding is in excellent condition. The original silver hands with white accents are very good with light patina. The hour markers and the hands were relumed during service. The watch is ready to wear on an unworn tan genuine leather two piece strap with silver toned buckle and contrasting stitching. The Swiss (ETA) made 17 jewel caliber 826 automatic wind movement was fully serviced September 2023 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 24 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished stainless steel case and screw down case back. Some scratching on the bezel and on the case back. Signed Hamilton crown.
Lugs - Lugs are in excellent condition with no major defects. Some light scratching.
Crystal - NOS domed acrylic crystal installed during service in September 2023.
Hands - Appear to be original with light patina developing. Hour and minute hands relumed during service.
Dial - Excellent original blue dial with matte finish. Applied silver tone markers with white painted accents. Painted Hamilton branding, selfwinding branding, and minute track. Applied Hamilton H logo.
Band - Unworn, tan genuine leather strap with silver toned clasp and contrasting stitching.
Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton automatic wind caliber 826, 17 jewels. Fully serviced September 2023. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
