Serviced May 2019, Swiss made manual wind movement, very good silver dial with light patina, silver applied hour markers, hand polished stainless steel case, acrylic crystal, unworn leather strap, alloy mainspring.
Made for four years from 1968 through 1971, the Hamilton Thinline 5003 was one of the few models to be produced in the United States as well as Switzerland after Hamilton moved production there in 1969. This watch comes with a Swiss (Buren) made manual wind 639 caliber movement. The case is stamped with the Lancaster, PA mark. The dial is in very good condition with light, honest patina. The applied silver markers are in good condition and the painted minute track is excellent. The paint for the sunken sub seconds dial is excellent. The hands appear to be original and have some patina. The watch is ready to wear on an unworn brown leather strap with contrasting stitching and a silver toned clasp. The Swiss (Buren) made 17 jewel caliber 639 manual wind movement was fully serviced May 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 56 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished one piece stainless steel case. Some scratching on the bezel, scratching on back.
Lugs - In excellent condition with no major defects. Some light scratching.
Crystal - Domed acrylic crystal polished clean and clear of major defects.
Hands - Appear to be original. The lume also appears to be original and no longer glows.
Dial - Silver dial. Applied silver tone hour markers, black painted minute track. Painted Hamilton logo and sub seconds cross hairs in excellent condition.
Band - Brand new, unworn brown genuine leather strap with gold tone buckle and contrasting stitching.
Movement - Swiss (Buren) made Hamilton manual wind caliber 639, 17 jewels. Fully serviced May 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
