1968 Hamilton Sea Haven II

Serviced March 2019, good silver dial with gold applied markers and numerals, light patina, polished 10k rolled gold one piece case, original expansion bracelet, NOS acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made in just 1968 and 1969, the Hamilton Sea Haven II featured a Swiss made 688 caliber manual wind movement. The silver dial features applied gold markers and numerals and has a few flecks of patina. The paint for the Hamilton 'H' and logo is in excellent condition. The hands appear to be original with lume no longer present on the minute hand. The watch comes ready to wear on the original Kreisler expansion bracelet. A NOS acrylic crystal was installed during service. The 688 sweep seconds movement was serviced March 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 15 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 10k rolled gold plate single piece case. Some minor scratching on bezel, some marring on the case back.

Lugs - Little to no wear on the outside of the lugs. Some wearing consistent with a expansion bracelet on the inside of the lugs (not visible with strap/bracelet installed).

Crystal - NOS high domed acrylic crystal installed during full servicing March 2019.

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina. Lume no longer present on minute hand.

Dial - Good silver dial with light patina. Applied gold markers and numerals. The paint on the dial is excellent.

Bracelet - Original vintage Kreisler expansion bracelet. Gold filled caps, stainless steel backs. Two of the expansion links have lost some of their spring. Bottom of the bracelet shows signs of wear consistent with age.

Movement - Swiss made, Hamilton caliber 688, manual wind. Serviced March 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
