Serviced December 2025, Swiss made automatic movement, excellent silver dial, applied markers, hand polished one-piece stainless steel case, NOS domed acrylic crystal.
Hamilton introduced the Dateline series of models in 1963 and produced them in various versions through the 1970's. This particular Dateline is the A-581 model and comes with a Swiss (ETA) made automatic 694A caliber movement, which can also be hand wound. The silver dial is in very good condition with no minor patina. The applied silver markers with black accents are in excellent condition. The paint for the Hamilton logo and automatic script branding is in mint condition. The original silver hands with black accents are good with patina, notably on the minute hand. The watch is ready to wear on a brand new tan genuine leather strap. The Swiss (ETA) made 17 jewel caliber 694A automatic movement was fully serviced December 2025 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 9 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished stainless steel, one piece case. Some minor scratching on the bezel and on the case back.
Lugs - Lugs are in good condition with some light scratching.
Crystal - NOS domed acrylic crystal installed during service in December 2025.
Hands - Original with patina.
Dial - Very good original silver dial with some patina. Applied silver tone markers with black painted accents at 12, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. Painted Hamilton and script automatic branding is in mint condition. Painted Hamilton H logo.
Strap - Unworn genuine leather tan two piece strap with silver tone buckle.
Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton automatic caliber 694A, 17 jewels, hand winds. Fully serviced December 2025. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
