1966 Hamilton Boatswain III

Serviced October 2018, slightly dented silver dial with hairline scratches, polished 10k rolled gold case, stainless steel back, vintage black genuine leather strap.

Hamilton produced the Boatswain III from 1966 through 1969. The dial on this example is radially brushed (sunburst) silver. The dial is slightly dented in the lower left quadrant. The gold applied markers at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 are excellent with very little to no patina. The paint for the Hamilton logo and additional hour markers is in mint condition. The Swiss made caliber 688 movement was serviced October 2018 and is running strong and currently performing at +/- 13 seconds per day.

Case - One piece hand polished 10k rolled gold bezel and integrated stainless steel case back. Some minor scratches on the bezel. Signed Hamilton crown.

Lugs - Some minor scratching but no obvious gold plate wear on the lugs.

Crystal - High domed acrylic crystal polished clean and clear.

Hands - Appear to be original. Little to no patina visible on the hour an minute hand. Light patina on the sweep second hand.

Dial - Silver dial, gold applied markers at 12, 3, 6, and 9, other hour markers painted. Some minor flecked patina present. The paint for the Hamilton logo and hour markers is in mint condition.

Band - Vintage black genuine leather band. In fair shape and ready to wear with a gold tone clasp.

Movement - Swiss made caliber 688, manual wind, 17 jewels. The movement was fully serviced October 2018. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
