1965 Hamilton Thin-o-matic T-413

Serviced November 2018, excellent radially brushed silver dial with light patina and 18k gold applied numbers, hand polished 10k gold filled one piece case, unworn croc print strap, alloy mainspring.

Made for five years from 1965 through 1969, the Thin-o-matic T-413 comes with a Swiss made (ETA) Hamilton caliber 623 movement. Most Thin-o-matic models at the time came with a micro rotor movement manufactured by Buren. However, the caliber 623 that came in the T-413 uses a full rotor while still maintaining a relatively thin profile to fit inside of a thin case. The most distinctive feature of the Thin-o-matic T-413 are the lugs. They attach to the case at the 12 and 6 and, along with the classic proportions of the case and dial, give the watch a wonderful mid-century modern aesthetic. This particular Thin-o-matic T-413 features a radially brushed silver dial with virtually no visible patina. The painted cross hairs, Hamilton logo, and Thin-o-matic script are mint. The 623 automatic movement was serviced November 2018 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 5 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 10k gold filled one-piece case. There is no visible plate wear, but some scratching on the bezel and case back.

Lugs - No visible wear on the lugs, including on the tips. There is some scratching on the reverse side of the lugs.

Crystal - Polished acrylic crystal. Some light scratches visible on close inspection.

Hands - Appear to be original. Extremely light patina.

Dial - Original silver dial with 18k applied gold numerals and no readily apparent patina. Paint on the dial is in mint condition.

Band - Brand new, unworn black croc print leather strap with gold tone buckle.

Movement - Swiss made Hamilton caliber 623, automatic, 17 jewels. Fully serviced November 2018. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
