1965 Hamilton Thin-o-matic T-413

Serviced January 2019, mint radially brushed silver dial with 18k gold applied numbers, hand polished 10k gold filled one piece case, original gold filled expansion bracelet, acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made for five years from 1965 through 1969, the Thin-o-matic T-413 comes with a Swiss made (ETA) Hamilton caliber 623 movement. Most Thin-o-matic models at the time came with a micro rotor movement manufactured by Buren. However, the caliber 623 that came in the T-413 uses a full rotor while still maintaining a relatively thin profile to fit inside of a thin case. The most distinctive feature of the Thin-o-matic T-413 are the lugs. They attach to the case at the 12 and 6 and, along with the classic proportions of the case and dial, give the watch a wonderful mid-century modern aesthetic. This particular Thin-o-matic T-413 features a radially brushed silver dial with no visible patina. The painted cross hairs, Hamilton logo, and Thin-o-matic script are mint. The watch comes ready to wear on the original Kreisler expansion bracelet with 10k gold filled caps and stainless steel backs. The 623 automatic movement was serviced January 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 25 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 10k gold filled one-piece case. There is no visible plate wear, but some minor scratching on the bezel and case back.

Lugs - Minor wear and small scratches on the reverse side of the lug tips.

Crystal - Polished acrylic crystal.

Hands - Appear to be original. Some patina developing.

Dial - Original silver dial with 18k applied gold numerals, radially (sunburst) brushed, in minty condition. Paint on the dial is in mint condition.

Bracelet - Original Kreisler expansion bracelet that came with the watch in the 60's. 10k gold filled tops and stainless steel backs.

Movement - Swiss made Hamilton caliber 623, automatic, 17 jewels. Fully serviced January 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
