1965 Hamilton Arthur

Serviced February 2019, good white linen textured dial with honest patina, polished 10k rolled gold case, stainless steel case back, unworn tan leather strap with contrasting stitching, acrylic crystal, signed Hamilton crown, alloy mainspring.

Hamilton produced the Arthur from 1965 through 1969. The dial on this example is white with a unique linen texture finish. There is honest patina across the dial. The dial is original and has gold applied numerals and markers and what appear to be original hands. The paint for the sub second crosshairs and Hamilton logo is in mint condition. The Swiss made caliber 686 movement was serviced February 2019 and is running strong and currently performing at +/- 12 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 10k rolled gold bezel and stainless steel case back. Some scratching on the bezel. It appears the gold plating was repaired at some point in the past near the 6 o'clock position. Case back has little to no scratching. Hamilton signed crown.

Lugs - Some scratching and one spot of plate wear on the reverse of the lugs.

Crystal - Low domed acrylic crystal polished clean and clear of any major defects.

Hands - Appear to be original. Little to no patina.

Dial - White linen dial, gold applied numerals and markers. Honest patina across the dial, most notable outside the hour markers. The paint for the sub second crosshairs and Hamilton logo is in mint condition.

Band - Unworn tan genuine leather strap with gold tone buckle and contrasting stitching.

Movement - Swiss made caliber 686, manual wind, 17 jewels. The movement was fully serviced February 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
