1964 Hamilton Sea Scout III

Serviced October 2019, Swiss made manual wind movement, good silver dial with silvered applied markers and painted numerals, blemish at 5 o'clock, polished stainless steel one piece case, monogrammed case back, unworn black leather strap, NOS acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made for four years in 1964 through 1967, the Hamilton Sea Scout III comes with a Swiss made Hamilton caliber 686 manual wind movement. The radially finished silver dial on this example is in good condition with light patina and a blemish at the 5 o'clock position. The hands appear to be original and are in good condition with light patina developing. The hour and minute hand have been relumed at some point in the watch's history and still glows very faintly. The painted Hamilton logo, numerals, and minute track are excellent. The single piece stainless steel case has been hand polished and has some minor scratching. The case back is monogrammed. The watch is ready to wear on a brand new black genuine leather strap with silver toned buckle. The Swiss made 686 manual wind movement was serviced October 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 31 seconds per day.

Lugs - In great condition with some minor scratching.

Crystal - NOS acrylic crystal installed during service in October 2019.

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina. Hour and minute hand lume glows very faintly.

Dial - Original radially finished (sunburst) silver dial with silvered applied odd hour markers and painted even hour numerals. Paint on the dial is in excellent condition. Blemish in the dial finish at the 5 o'clock position. Light patina evident.

Band - Unworn, black genuine leather strap with silver toned clasp.

Movement - Swiss made Hamilton manual caliber 686, 17 jewels. Fully serviced October 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
