1964 Hamilton Sea Baron

Serviced November 2018, Swiss made manual wind movement, excellent silver dial with gold applied hour markers and gold minute track. Very minor blemishes in the acrylic crystal. Comes on unworn croc print leather strap.

Made for just one year in 1964, this Hamilton Sea Baron is relatively hard to come across, especially in the excellent condition this example is in. The radially finished silver dial on this watch is in excellent condition with no patina evident. The paint for the Hamilton script logo, cross hairs through the middle of the dial, and the minute markers are mint. The gold applied markers and minute track is mint. The watch is ready to wear on a genuine leather, black croc print strap with gold tone buckle. The Swiss made 688 manual wind movement was serviced November 2018 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 12 seconds per day.

Case - 10k rolled gold plate one-piece case, hand polished.

Lugs - In excellent condition with no visible wear on the tips.

Crystal - Acrylic crystal. Some minor pitting, most visible on inspection with a loupe.

Hands - The lume has degraded on the minute hand, but are otherwise in great condition.

Dial - Radially finished (sunburst) silver dial with gold applied markers and gold minute track. No patina on this wonderful dial.

Band - Brand new, unworn black croc print leather strap with gold tone buckle.

Movement - Swiss made Hamilton manual caliber 688, 17 jewels. Fully serviced November 2018. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
