1964 Hamilton M115-2

Serviced September 2018, Swiss made automatic movement, excellent silver dial with gold inscribed markers, polished 10k gold filled one piece case, original Kreisler expansion bracelet, signed Hamilton crown, NOS acrylic crystal.

Hamilton M-series watches were a sperate line from the regular models and were primarily marketed in the 1960's through catalogs. This particular watch retailed for $115 in 1964, and was the second watch at that price, therefor was called the M115-2. The silver dial on this example is in excellent condition with very minor fading of the paint on the Hamilton logo. The painted minute track and script "automatic" are excellent. The watch is ready to wear on its original Kreisler expansion bracelet. The 689 automatic movement was serviced September 2018 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 17 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 10k gold filled one-piece case. Some small scratches on the back near the crown. No visible plate wear.

Lugs - In excellent condition with no visible wear.

Crystal - NOS acrylic crystal installed September 2018 as part of the full servicing.

Hands - Hour and minute hand appear to be original. The sweep second hand, while the correct length, does not appear to be original.

Dial - Original silver dial with gold inscribed hour markers. Vertical brushing on the dial gives some texture to the dial. Paint on the dial is in excellent condition, except for some minor fading of the Hamilton logo.

Bracelet - Original vintage Kreisler expansion bracelet. Stainless steel back, 10k gold filled caps.

Movement - Swiss made Hamilton automatic caliber 689, 17 jewels. Fully serviced September 2018. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
