1962 Hamilton Seaman

Serviced August 2019, American made manual wind movement, excellent silver dial with concentric circle texture, silvered applied markers, and pearlized minute track. Polished stainless steel case and screw down case back, unworn black leather strap, acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring, signed crown.

Made for just a single year in 1962, the Hamilton Seaman comes with an American made Hamilton caliber 735 manual wind movement. The silver dial has a concentric grooved circle texture, often referred to as a "record finish". The dial is in excellent condition with a light flick of patina visible at 1:30 and a pearlized minute track. The hands appear to be original. The painted Hamilton logo is excellent. The crown is signed. The stainless steel case and stainless steel screw down case back have been hand polished and do have fine scratches visible. The domed acrylic crystal was polished during service. The watch is ready to wear on a brand new black genuine leather strap with silver toned buckle. The American made 735 manual wind movement was serviced August 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 27 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished stainless steel case and screw down case back. Some minor scratching. Signed Hamilton crown.

Lugs - In great condition.

Crystal - Acrylic crystal polished clean and clear of major defects during service.

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina. The lume is present in both the hour and minute hands but no longer works.

Dial - Original "record finished" (concentric circle grooves) silver dial with silvered applied hour markers and pearlized minute track. Paint on the dial is in excellent condition. Small fleck of patina at 1:30.

Band - Unworn, black leather strap with silver toned clasp.

Movement - American made Hamilton manual caliber 735, 18 jewels. Fully serviced August 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
