1962 Hamilton Sea Rover II

Serviced December 2018, Swiss made manual wind movement, excellent silver dial with silvered applies markers and painted numerals, polished stainless steel one piece case, vintage JB Champion stainless steel expansion bracelet, signed Hamilton crown, acrylic crystal.

Made for just a single year in 1962, the Hamilton Sea Rover II comes with a Swiss made Hamilton caliber 688 manual wind movement. The radially finished silver dial on this example is in excellent condition with no visible patina. There are radium burns on the dial where the watch stopped at 10:30 at some point in the watch's history. The lume on the syringe style hands is still present, but no longer luminesces. The painted Hamilton logo, numerals, and minute track are excellent. The watch is ready to wear on a vintage JB Champion expansion bracelet in stainless steel. The Swiss made 688 manual wind movement was serviced December 2018 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 15 seconds per day.
