1962 Hamilton Dodson

Serviced March 2019, Swiss made manual wind movement, fair white dial with gold applied numerals, honest patina, polished 10k rolled gold bezel, stainless steel case back, mineral glass crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made for just one year in 1962, the Hamilton Dodson featured a Swiss made 686 caliber manual wind movement. The white dial features applied gold numerals and has very fine concentric circle texturing. There is patina on the dial, as well as missing minute track paint from 11 to 3 o'clock. The paint for the Hamilton 'H' and logo is in excellent condition as is for the sub seconds crosshairs. The hands appear to be original and are in excellent condition. The watch comes ready to wear on vintage Speidel expansion bracelet. The crystal is mineral glass with no defects. The 686 sub seconds movement was serviced March 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 25 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 10k rolled gold plate bezel, stainless steel case back. Some minor scratching.

Lugs - Little to no wear on the outside of the lugs.

Crystal - Mineral glass crystal polished with no defects.

Hands - Appear to be original, in excellent condition.

Dial - Fair white with patina. Applied gold numerals. The paint for the upper right minute track is missing, the rest of the paint on the dial is excellent.

Bracelet - Vintage 10k gold filled caps, stainless steel backs, Speidel expansion bracelet.

Movement - Swiss made, Hamilton caliber 688, manual wind. Serviced March 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
