Serviced December 2025, excellent two tone silver dial and 18k gold applied numbers, polished 10k gold filled case and bezel, NOS acrylic crystal, unworn leather strap, alloy mainspring.
Made for five years from 1951 through 1955, the Beldon is a part of Hamilton's CLD ("sealed") lineup of watches. The CLD line of watches came with a series of gaskets that were designed to keep moisture and dust out of the case and were marketed as "weatherproof". This line predates the "waterproof" watches that were introduced by Hamilton in the late 1950's. This particular Beldon features an American made 747 caliber manual mind movement with 17 jewels. The two tone silver dial is excellent. The painted minute track, sub seconds track, Hamilton logo, and CLD branding are excellent. The 747 manual wind movement was serviced December 2025 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 12 seconds per day.
