1960 Hamilton Thin-o-Matic T-502

Serviced March 2019, Swiss made automatic micro rotor movement, textured silver dial with radium burns, hand polished one piece stainless steel case, acrylic crystal, unworn black leather strap, alloy mainspring.

Made for six years from 1960 through 1965, the Hamilton Thin-o-Matic T-502 watch comes with a Swiss (Buren) made automatic 663 caliber movement with a micro rotor. Hamilton began producing the Thin-o-Matic line of watches in 1959 using Swiss made micro rotor movements which allowed them to produce high quality automatic watches as well as capitalize on the prevailing trend of thin watch cases. The silver dial features a linen texture and exhibits radium burn near the center of the dial. The applied silver markers are excellent. The paint for the Hamilton logo, the 'H' logo, and the Thin-o-Matic brading is excellent, as is the pearlized minute track. The original silver hands are good, with radium patina visible. The watch is ready to wear on a brand new, unworn black leather strap with contrasting stitching. The Swiss (Buren) made 17 jewel caliber 663 automatic movement was fully serviced March 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 37 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished stainless steel case. Some scratching on the bezel and on the snap on case back.

Lugs - In excellent condition with no major defects. Drilled spring bar holes. Some light scratching.

Crystal - Acrylic crystal polished clean and clear of any major defects.

Hands - Appear to be original with patina developing. The lume also appears to be original and no longer glows.

Dial - Silver linen textured dial. Applied silver tone markers. Painted Hamilton, 'H' logo, and script Thin-o-Matic branding. Pearlized minute track. Paint on the dial is in excellent condition. Radium burn in the center of the dial.

Band - Unworn black genuine leather strap with silver tone buckle and contrasting stitching.

Movement - Swiss (Buren) made Hamilton automatic caliber 663, 17 jewels, micro rotor. Fully serviced March 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
