1957 Hamilton Rotomatic II

Serviced January 2020, Swiss made automatic wind movement, good silver dial with 14k gold applied hour markers and pearlized minute track. Hand polished 10k gold filled bezel, stainless steel case back, unworn leather croc print strap with gold tone buckle, domed acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made from 1957 through 1959, the Hamilton Rotomatic II comes with a Swiss made Hamilton caliber 665 automatic wind movement. The watch features a good sterling silver dial with applied 14k gold hour markers and pearlized minute track. The dial has some light patina, notably around the outside edge from 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock. There are a few small blemishes as well. The hands appear to be original with light patina. The paint for the curved 'Hamilton' and 'Automatic' is excellent on the dial. The domed acrylic crystal was polished during the full service January 2020. The 10k gold filled bezel has been hand polished and shows some minor scratching. The screw down stainless steel case back has some minor scratching consistent with age. The watch comes ready to wear on an unworn brown genuine leather croc print strap with gold tone buckle. The 665 caliber automatic wind movement was serviced January 2020 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 13 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 10k gold filled bezel, stainless steel screw down case back. Fine scratching evident.

Lugs - No plate wear evident.

Crystal - Domed acrylic crystal polished clean and clear during service January 2020.

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina.

Dial - Original, good condition dial. Silver dial with applied 14k gold hour markers and minute track pearlized dots. Patina evident, notably from 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock. Some blemishes

Band - Unworn genuine leather brown croc print strap with gold tone buckle.

Movement - Swiss made Hamilton caliber 665, automatic, 23 jewels. Fully serviced January 2020. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
