Serviced January 2026, excellent original silver dial with 14k gold applied numerals and dots, polished 14k gold filled bezel and case back. Unworn brown genuine leather strap, alloy mainspring, acrylic crystal.
The Hamilton Linwood was produced from 1938 through 1941. It features an American made 980 caliber manual mind movement with 17 jewels and is one of a few "curvex" models Hamilton produced. The serial number stamped on this movement is from 1938. The excellent original silver dial on this example has some extremely light patina. The painted minute track, sub seconds dial, and Hamilton branding are excellent. The applied hour dots and numerals are solid 14k gold and are mint. The star shaped marker at the 6 o'clock is missing. The hands appear to be original and are in excellent condition with little to no patina. There is no plate wear visible on the bezel front of the bezel. There is plate wear on the reverse side of the lugs and on the edges of the case back. The watch comes ready to wear on an unworn brown genuine leather two piece strap with gold tone buckle and quick release spring bars. The crystal is acrylic. The 980 manual wind movement was serviced January 2026 and is running strong and currently performing at +/- 12 seconds per day.

Dial - Excellent condition sterling silver dial with applied 14k gold numerals and dots. Light patina, blemishes on the dial. Paint on the dial is in excellent condition. Missing star marker at 6 o'clock.
Band -Unworn brown genuine leather two piece strap with gold tone buckle. Quick release spring bars.
Movement - American made Hamilton caliber 980, manual wind, 17 jewels. Serviced January 2026. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
