1956 Hamilton Accumatic

Serviced September 2019, Swiss made automatic movement, good black dial, embossed numerals and markers, hand polished stainless steel case and screw down case back, NOS acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Hamilton introduced the Accumatic line in 1956 and produced them in various versions through 1972. The Accumatic was the first model and was originally offered with three different dials. This particular Accumatic comes with a Swiss (ETA) made automatic 672 caliber movement, which can also be hand wound. The black dial is good with patina across the dial. The embossed silver numerals and markers are excellent as is the pearlized inner minute track. The paint for the Hamilton logo and automatic branding is in excellent condition. The original silver hands are good with light patina. A NOS domed acrylic crystal was installed during service. The watch is ready to wear on a genuine leather lizard print strap. The Swiss (ETA) made 17 jewel caliber 672 automatic movement was fully serviced September 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 27 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished steel case with screw down case back. Some scratching on the bezel and on the case back. One ding on the lower edge of the bezel.

Lugs - Lugs are in excellent condition with no major defects. Some light scratching.

Crystal - NOS acrylic crystal installed during service in September 2019.

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina developing.

Dial - Good original black dial. Embossed silver tone numerals and markers. Painted Hamilton and automatic branding. Pearlized minute track.

Strap - Unworn genuine leather black two piece strap with lizard print and silver tone buckle.

Movement - Swiss (ETA) made Hamilton automatic caliber 672, 17 jewels, hand winds. Fully serviced September 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
