1955 Hamilton Ward
Serviced July 2022, excellent original white dial with black painted numbers and gold dots. Hand polished 10k gold filled case, stainless steel case back, genuine leather unworn strap, NOS acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.
Produced from 1955 through 1957, the Ward was offered with two dial variants. When the Ward was first introduced in 1955, it came with black painted numerals and gold dots. In the 1956 and 1957 catalogs, Hamilton offered the Ward with painted black numerals and dots, indicating this example was manufactured in 1955. The Ward features an American made 730 caliber manual wind movement with 17 jewels. The original matte white dial is in excellent condition. The paint for the minute track, the sub seconds dial, the Hamilton logo, and for numerals is in minty condition. There is very minor patina visible near the 4 o'clock. A NOS acrylic crystal was installed during service July 2022. The hand polished 10k gold filled case shows some fine scratching but little to no plate wear visible. The watch is ready to wear on an unworn genuine leather strap with gold tone hardware and contrasting stitching. The 730 manual wind movement was serviced July 2022 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 15 seconds per day.

Lugs - Excellent condition.
Crystal - NOS acrylic crystal installed as part of the full servicing in July 2022.
Hands - Appear to be original with very light patina.
Dial - Original matte finished white dial with black painted numerals. Paint across the dial is in mint condition. Light patina near the 4 o'clock.
Strap - Unworn black genuine leather strap, contrasting stitching, gold tone hardware.
Movement - American made Hamilton caliber 730, manual wind, 17 jewels. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
