1955 Hamilton Powell

Serviced February 2020, American made manual wind movement, fair white dial with 14k gold applied markers and painted indices. Hand polished 10k gold filled bezel, stainless steel case back, unworn genuine leather strap with gold tone buckle, NOS domed acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made from 1955 through 1958, the Hamilton Powell comes with an American made Hamilton caliber 747 manual wind movement. The watch features a fair white dial with applied 14k gold hour markers and painted indices. There is honest patina across the dial. The hands appear to be original with light patina. The paint for the curved 'Hamilton' is excellent. A NOS domed acrylic crystal was installed during the full service February 2020. The 10k gold filled bezel has been hand polished and shows some minor scratching. The snap on stainless steel case back has some minor scratching consistent with age and some pitting on the edge near the strap. The watch comes ready to wear on an unworn brown genuine leather strap with gold tone buckle. The 747 caliber manual wind movement was serviced February 2020 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 21 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 10k gold filled bezel, stainless steel snap on case back. Fine scratching evident.

Lugs - Minor plate wear evident on the tip of the reverse side.

Crystal - NOS domed acrylic crystal installed during service February 2020.

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina.

Dial - Original, fair condition dial. White dial with applied 14k gold hour markers and painted indices. Patina evident across the dial.

Band - Unworn genuine leather brown strap with gold tone buckle.

Movement - American made Hamilton caliber 747, manual wind, 17 jewels. Fully serviced February 2020. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
