1955 Hamilton Pelham
Serviced September 2020, excellent original two tone silver dial with 18k gold applied numerals and markers, polished 10k gold filled bezel and case back. Unworn brown genuine calf strap, alloy mainspring, acrylic crystal.
The Hamilton Pelham was produced for just one year in 1955. It features an American made 753 caliber manual mind movement with 19 jewels. The serial number on the movement (63482F) indicates that it was made in 1953. The excellent original two tone silver dial has extremely minor spots of patina. The painted sub seconds track, minute track detail, and Hamilton logo are excellent. The applied hour markers and numerals are solid 18k gold. The hands appear to be original and are in good condition with little to no patina. There is no plate wear visible on the bezel, case back, or on the lugs. The watch comes ready to wear on a vintage style, unworn genuine calf leather two piece strap with gold tone buckle. The crystal is mineral glass. The 753 manual wind movement was serviced September 2020 and is running strong and currently performing at +/- 12 seconds per day.
