1955 Hamilton Baxter

Serviced February 2021, American made manual wind movement, very good sterling silver dial with 18k gold applied hour dots and numerals. Hand polished 10k gold filled bezel, stainless steel case back, brand new genuine leather brown croc strap with gold tone buckle, acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made from 1955 through 1957, the Hamilton Baxter was a larger watch for the time. This watch comes with an American made Hamilton caliber 730 manual wind movement. The watch features a very good sterling silver dial with applied 18k gold numerals and dots. The dial has very light patina. The acrylic crystal was polished clean and clear of major defects during the full service February 2021. The 10k gold filled bezel has been hand polished and shows some minor scratching. There is little to no plate wear visible. The stainless steel case back has some minor scratching consistent with age. The watch comes ready to wear on an unworn Italian leather brown croc print strap with gold tone buckle. The 730 caliber manual wind movement was serviced February 2021 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 18 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 10k gold filled bezel, stainless steel case back. Fine scratching evident.

Lugs - In excellent condition.

Crystal - Acrylic crystal polished clean and clear during February 2021 service.

Hands - Appear to be original with patina.

Dial - Original, very good condition dial. Sterling silver dial with applied 18k gold numerals and dots. Minor flecked patina evident.

Band - Unworn Italian leather brown croc two piece strap.

Movement - American made Hamilton caliber 730, manual, 17 jewels. Fully serviced February 2021. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
