1953 Hamilton Sherman

1953 Hamilton Sherman

Serviced November 2018, good two-tone silver dial with 18k gold applied numbers and markers, light flecked patina, polished 10k gold filled case, vintage Speidel expansion bracelet, and alloy mainspring.

Made for just one year in 1953, the Sherman features an American made 753 caliber manual mind movement with 19 jewels. The two-tone silver dial has light patina and gold numerals and markers. The two tone finish, coupled with the warm distortion from the acrylic crystal, plays with the light wonderfully. The painted minute track, Hamilton logo, and sub seconds track are excellent. The 753 manual wind movement was serviced November 2018 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 28 seconds per day.
