1953 Hamilton Medford

Serviced October 2019, American made manual wind movement, excellent original black dial with 18k white gold applied numerals. Hand polished 10k white gold filled bezel and case back, vintage expansion bracelet with 10k white gold filled caps, NOS acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.

Made from 1953 through 1954, the Hamilton Medford comes with an American made Hamilton caliber 753 manual wind movement with 19 jewels. The watch features the original black dial with applied 18k white gold numerals in excellent condition. A NOS acrylic crystal was installed during the full service October 2019. The 10k white gold filled bezel and snap on case back have been hand polished and shows some minor scratching. There is no visible plate wear on the bezel or the case back. The hands appear to be original and are silver toned, matching the color of the numerals. The painted minute and sub seconds track are mint. The watch comes ready to wear on a vintage expansion bracelet with 10k white gold filled caps and stainless steel backs. The 753 caliber manual wind movement was serviced October 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 33 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 10k white gold filled bezel and case back. Fine scratching evident.

Lugs - Lugs are in excellent condition with some minor scratching. Drilled lug holes make changing straps a breeze.

Crystal - NOS acrylic crystal installed during service October 2019.

Hands - Appear to be original with little to no patina evident.

Dial - Original, excellent condition dial. Black dial with applied 18k white gold numerals. Painted minute and sub seconds tracks are mint.

Band - Vintage white gold capped expansion bracelet. Some minor scratching consistent with age.

Movement - American made Hamilton caliber 753, manual, 19 jewels. Fully serviced October 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
