1950's Benrus CE 13 Vintage Pointer Date Watch
Serviced September 2018, Pointer Date and Day complications, silver dial with patina, hand polished 10k rolled gold plated bezel, unworn brown genuine leather strap with gold tone clasp.
This Benrus Model CE 13 features a silver dial with honest patina, a white date track on the outside diameter, and gold applied numerals. There is a Day complication at the 12 o'clock and the most distinctive feature, a Pointer Date complication. The third hand with red arrow tip points to the date along the outside track. The quick set date is activated by pushing the crown firmly in until the date advances one day (DO NOT manually advance the Date between 10 pm and 2 am as it could break the components). The Swiss made movement was serviced September 2018 is running very strong, all functions working flawlessly, and currently reading +/- 46 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 10k rolled gold plated. There is some wear on the bezel near the lugs. Stainless steel case back in excellent condition
Lugs - The fancy shaped lugs are in good condition with some wear on the back.
Crystal - Acrylic crystal polished clear and clean.
Hands - The minute hand shows some patina. Some minor fading of the red paint on the date pointer hand.
Dial - Silver with gold applied numerals. Honest patina present across the dial. The paint for sub second track and Benrus logo are faded in places. The paint for the dates on the outer track is in great shape.
Band - New, unworn, croc embossed brown genuine leather strap with gold clasp.
Movement - Benrus caliber CE 13, manual wind, 17 jewels, Swiss made. Serviced September 2018. NOS steel mainspring install during service. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
