1950 Hamilton Lambert

1950 Hamilton Lambert

Serviced September 2018, good silver dial with 18k gold applied numbers, light patina, polished 10k gold filled case, vintage Speidel expansion bracelet, signed Hamilton crown, NOS acrylic crystal and alloy mainspring.

Made for just two years in 1950 and 1951, the Lambert features an American made 747 caliber manual mind movement with 17 jewels. The silver dial has light patina, with some spider cracks between the 1 and 2. The painted minute track, Hamilton logo, and sub seconds track is excellent. The 747 manual wind movement was serviced September 2018 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 28 seconds per day.

Size:

26mm wide
26.8mm length
10.6mm Tall
18mm Lug to Lug
35.4mm Tip to Tip

Case - Hand polished 10k gold filled bezel and case back. Wear through on the case back near the lugs. Two scratches on the case back.

Lugs - Minor wear on the outside edges of the lugs. Lugs are drilled so changing bracelets/straps is a breeze.

Crystal - NOS acrylic crystal installed September 2018 as part of the full servicing.

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina.

Dial - Original silver dial with 18k applied gold numerals. Light patina with some cracking between the 1 and 2. Paint on the dial is in excellent condition.

Bracelet - Vintage Speidel expansion bracelet. Stainless steel back, 10k gold filled caps. The bracelet has all links and will likely need to be sized (it's big on a 7.5+ inch wrist).

Movement - Hamilton caliber 747, manual wind, 17 jewels. Brand new alloy mainspring installed during the full service September 2018. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
