1948 Hamilton Secometer B

Serviced September 2018, good silver dial with patina, NOS acrylic crystal, polished 10k gold filled case, unworn black leather strap, keeps excellent time.

Hamilton produced the Secometer B from 1948 through 1952. The silver dial is original and has solid 18k gold applied numerals and has light honest patina. The paint for the minute track and Hamilton logo is in mint condition. With the bubble back case back, this watch wears very comfortably on the wrist. The 748 sweep seconds movement was serviced September 2018 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 32 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 10k gold filled. Some minor scratches on the case back. Some plate wear on the back near the crown.

Lugs - Little to no wear on the lugs.

Crystal - NOS high domed acrylic crystal installed as part of the full service completed September 2018.

Hands - Appear to be original, other than the central sweep second hand.

Dial - Silver dial, gold applied numerals. Light patina in some areas. The paint for the minute track and Hamilton logo is in mint condition.

Band - Brand new, unworn brown croc print leather strap with gold tone buckle.

Movement - Hamilton caliber 748, manual wind. Serviced September 2018. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
